I’ve been meaning to write a blog post on this for a while – not really sure where the time is going but there is only about 3 weeks of classes left before revision/study week and then finals!

Anyhow on the Friday 19th October Lupe Fiasco paid a visit to UM. UM being UM gave us the concert free of charge! I guess that’s what comes from having to pay $50,000 fees every year. On a side note I really do enjoy the efforts that they go to providing entertainment, I’ve never really seen anything like this back in England.

I must admit a confession,  this was my first major concert – hugely exciting stuff. Having never really listened to any of his music though I was very impressed. Everything was amazing with the lights out, lazers spanning the room, what almost turned into a mosh pit down on the concert floor. I don’t really know how better to describe the atmosphere than to show a video of what was probably one of the best songs.
